Hai-Pu Oyster Omelette (海埔歐仔煎) in Taiwan (Hualien)

Our minsu owner circled this on our map of Hualien so when we were nearby, we thought why not we pop by and try the famous omelette. We didn't expect to see such a queue. Of course all the more we wanted to try looking at the amount of people.

We had to wait for 3 of this whole batches before our serving came. We were seated in front of the shop so we could see how she cooked and all. Very swift and fast she could come out with 13 plates of oyster omelette.

Very fresh and because you see how it is done right from the start to when they serve you a plate on your table, it tastes really good.

Elixir Health Pot (無老鍋)in Taiwan

A variety of their handmade balls. Shrimp, Fish, Sotong and Beef.

Best soup I've ever tasted for steamboat. I'm already missing it just thinking about it. The soup is so rich in flavour and because I don't really take spicy soup base, this was just oh-so-perfect.

The ice cream tofu will expand once it is cooked.

It has a mix taste of tofu and ice cream obviously. Something new and interesting.

Tofu that are being topped up if you request.

I have no idea what this was because they just served it to us. Maybe it was included or something but this drink was sweet and cold and taste so good right after a steamboat meal!

They had a small area outside their kitchen where you take your own sauce and free flow of rice.

Those 4 white bottles contains soup which you top it up yourself.

Elixir Health Pot (無老鍋)(Wu Lao Guo) in Taiwan
台北市市民大道三段143

It is rather far away from the metro. It took us a while to reach there.

1. We alighted at Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station and used Exit 4 and turned right.
2. At the traffic light, turn right again and walk straight along the road all the way (about 5-10mins).
3. Until we past a big ten junction, cross the road to the diagonal point across you.
4. You have to walk past a Miramar Hotel and Wu Lao Guo is just further down.

This was how we walked to the place, I don't know what are the other ways. Haha. But we were so proud of ourselves when we found the place in the rainy and cold weather. But I think the next time, I will just take a cab down straight. Hahaha.
