Gyu-Kaku (Japanese BBQ Restaurant)

This restaurant is a ala-carte BBQ restaurant. If I didn't remember wrongly, we ordered the Fuki Set.

The meat was really good. But it wouldn't be enough if you are a meat eater. 

All these are all included in the set menu. Price wise, it is of a little high but if you wouln't mind spending, it is worth a try.

Bibigo at Raffles City

Bibigo, I feel is a modern restaurant layout which serves korean cuisine. Their food variety is not extremely wide, but i believe all the dishes they serve stated on the menu are their best. We ordered the kimchi rice set and seafood pancake. Both was reallyy good! Although the pancake was supposed to be a side to share, We ordered it as a main and we shared both the rice and the pancake. Luckily coz the pancake was huge. We peeked at other tables before we ordered. Thats what I usually do. Haha!

  Sambal Belachan Fried Rice. It was yummy, A lot of rice and has a lot of seafood in it!

Three Colour Tea.Red Tea with Evaporated Milk and Palm Sugar. Very sweet drink but it was something special so we ordered.

Pisang Goreng with Cheese for dessert. It tastes so good, I ate 3 out of the 5 pieces. Love goreng pisang. This inside was so sweet and soft!

 Penang Fried Kway Teow. It was good and a huge portion too!

ExpresSOUP at Jurong Point

We ordered the clam chowder soup in a bowl and the black pepper chicken in a bread bowl. Luckily we did that, otherwise it will be toooo filling! Soup was not bad but a tad too salty, and as usual for me, creamy soups always make me feel that its too much after a while. So can't really finish the whole thing.

Saizeriya at City Square Mall

 We ordered the oven-grilled escargots. Filled with garlic and butter.

Foccacia with Garlic Butter. I kinda like it although its a little small and thin for that price of $2.20.

Pork with Italian Flavour Cheese Chicken Steak. This set was mine and it was super good. The meat was soft But the potatoes a little dry.

All looks great right! In fact before we entered this restaurant, we saw a long queue for the western food stall just outside the restaurant in the Kopitiam, also in City Square Mall. They seem to have a lot of orders as well. Maybe can try that the next time!

The Merry Men

Truffle Fries. The truffle oil taste is very minimal compared to other places but still fresh and good to snack on. It was cleared within minutes! The sauce accompanying it was also really good.

Portobello Fries. This was GOOD. but it was only a few pieces. There were like 7 of us and we only could have one each.

Duck Pizza if I'm not wrong. It has longan in it if i was not wrong. love it. 

 

Crab Meat Pasta. This pasta have tons of crab meat in it. They did not shortchange you. But I was concentrating more on the pizza than the pasta though.

Can't remember what was it exactly called but it is a pizza with truffle oil and mushrooms in it, topped with an egg in the middle. The egg yolk oozed out when we cut a slice to start eating. Good for my friend who can eat meat but doesnt like meat. What do we call them? Vegetarians? A little vegetarian?

Anyhoo, Merrymen is a chill out place at night where you can get drinks, sit down and chit chat. It is a little bit out of the way if you do not drive and when you drive, you have to park at the hotel opposite it. Riverview Hotel. We drove one round before we knew where to park.
